It all started It all started with a simple question:
What kind of future do I want for a place I love so much?
My imagination immediately took it one step further.
What if 'Moonridge' was actually a resort on the Moon?
From there, the idea for The Moonridge Room was born— And underneath it is something much deeper.
This space is about more than spaceships, lunar landscapes, and mid-century sci-fi aesthetics. It’s about the future we’re helping create right here in our mountain community.
We believe the future of Big Bear should be welcoming, creative, inclusive, and connected.
Where strangers become friends.
A place locals feel seen and valued.
Somewhere visitors instantly feel like they belong.
Where kids are encouraged.
A place animals are treated well.
And somewhere everyone has a seat at the table -- Even our Gluten-Free friends :)
The Moonridge Room was built to be a gathering place—a place to laugh, share stories, meet new people, celebrate milestones, and make memories that stick with you long after you’ve returned to Earth.
The sci-fi theme may have started as a fun thought experiment, but the mission is very real:
To help shape a future where community comes first, imagination is encouraged, and everyone is invited along for the ride.
